Ron, I knew that Yilmaz had been named by a captured criminal as being a contact. At least one member of the ruling coalition had resigned because of being named as being in contact with another captured gangster. I didn't know that the situation had deteriorated that much though. The news I see is dominated by the Turkish foreign affairs conflicts and with the Kurdish guerilla war.

Manova had decided that the parliamentary route was unfruitful and had decided to try another way to get its legislation passed.

CHARLESTON, S.C., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Green Oasis Environmental, Inc. (OTC Bulletin
Board: GRNO) announced today it has extended the equipment purchase agreement with Manova
A.S. as a result of political developments in Turkey: early elections and the parliament holiday.
Manova stated they are seeking a Decree from the Ministers of High Planning Committee which is
an option to create the legislation Manova seeks to establish a waste oil collection system and
complete the purchase of a GOE plant for processing in Turkey, however, the time required for such
approval law/decree remains uncertain. Under the agreement GOE would be a minority owner of
the operating company.

It seems the Ministers of High Planning are as reluctant to clean up waste oil as the government coalition was. With the ongoing revelations of members of parliament being involved with criminals, it may be an indication of why it is so difficult to get anything done in Turkey.
