This quote from your article is worth of repetition and is why I am against this thing:

We don't learn from others. It's very disappointing.

Oh, btw, the steel industry is still alive only because Bush subsidized it. I wonder what would have happened had he not done that? So although, I agree that a carbon tax will have a multiplier effect throughout our economy, I'm not sure the steel industry is a great example of job loss overseas, as they have other forces impacting them that would have made that inevitable without government intervention anyway.
