Reading it, I thought... hmm... now suppose these facts were listed, short and sweet, in the form of a bulleted list, i.e.: - USBL is a minor league basketball franchisor. - USBL is the only publicly trading sports franchise. - USBL has been in business for 12 years. - 109 USBL players have gone on to the NBA. - USBL is currently composed of 12 teams, mostly on the east coast. - USBL has recently added teams in Ohio and Washington, DC. - USBL plans to open a Pacific Coast Division in 1999. - ... on and on and on ... When you line up all the raw facts ... devoid of any hype or spin ... the story is both compelling and rather beautiful ... a genuine "feel good" stock. What if we work up your excellent report into a bulleted "USBL Investor's Fact Sheet" ... clearly sponsered by USBL shareholders, not the company. Suppose we keep it terse and factual. Suppose, when any opinion is stated, it is clearly identified, i.e.: - 80% of USBL shares are held by insiders (Being so closely held creates a strong incentive for management) - Insider sales of USBL stock has amounted to only x% since 199y. Suppose we take the "high ground" (as is justified in this case) and stay COMPLETELY away from hype and unsubstantiated claimology. The web is ours. If we put together a very high quality "USBL Investor Fact Sheet" which covers all the bases, then we can get this stock a hearing in the market. Let's concentrate on facts, quality, completeness. no hype. Let the story tell itself ... ... damn good report ... nicely done!
