Allen: The incorporation of VxWorks into the nuclear magnetic resoance spectrometers from Varian Associates is much as you suggest. It is a much cleaner system then their earlier RTOS which they had kludged together themselves. The system works nicely using a variant of C++ to program in and then downloading the compiled code to the VxWorks-68040 board. About charts: I ususally check with my broker as his reading of charts is something I take as information on market sentiment. This is down the list of factors I consider.
