I disagree with this complaint. What is most interesting about this story is that the accused is an American. If the headline read "Islamist Accused...," who would be surprised at that? The islamists are, after all, the bad guys.


I disagree with half the complaint. What's most interesting is that he is both "US" and "Islamist", and both words should have been in the headline. There is an unnatural fear of calling Islamists by name in the US press. If you only read the MSM, have you even heard the word "Islamist"?
