I wouldn't underestimate Harper yet.


I cannot forget the last nomination meeting in Niagara where the two big problems were abortion and Gays.... The election before last the party actually recruited a guy who was a radio personality on CKTB. During the election it was announced that he had run a contest in one of the local bars for Xtreme Stunts. (This was a public event and was well known) The winner of the contest, had nailed his own testicles to a board.

Needless to say he lost the election.

Those are the kind of people Harper is working with.... So far he has been batting way over his head. But he has made no effort, nor has his party to help in Caledonia. And he has agreed with McGuinty several times, including to appeal the judges verdict to end the occupation..... He will lose Ontario once the violence starts, and more occupations happen.
There is already another one on the Grand River.
