Ice one again I have no position in RMBS. It is also too thinly traded for pain to work.

But look at the action in QCOM (rising to pain today - and I suggest it would have done this without any news). VRTS VRSN all have risen or fallen towards pain these past few sessions. CIEN downgraded and pain is at 55. AMAT has been drifting towards pain as well.

I fully understand pain has many many problems, but this month it was a pretty damn good predictor of which way things would drift.

Trying to apply max pain on somnething as thinly held as RMBS is a mistake many many times. However I did see 4 months in a row where RMBS closed within 1/4 point of pain.

It is a guide no more no less. Last months rally to max pain was simply phenominal and I feel like an idiot for not playing for it. This close to options expiry, I do like to be on the right side of pain or at least near it.
