I don't think the current President is an ideologue, any more than the former one was. And yes, I trust his choice of the best legal opinions. He has NO reason at all to try to get less than the best. Would you want to get Joe Average if you were President, instead of Joe BestofAll? Neither does Bush. Neither did Clinton, although I certainly didn't like his choices of Ginsburg and Bryrer. But he was President, and they were his choices. Taking of private property against the owners will, for private gain, and for a city, town, etc to have more tax dollars in the coffers is totally out of bounds IMO. Bet Souter isn't going to like it if they take his property either.
