go buy all the linux and solaris you want. the masses have spoken with their wallets and choose msft products over and over. if there is 1/200th of 1% of them that prefers what you like, so be it. for someone to say that msft is doomed at this stage is pure folly. as a company, they have never been stronger, never had better prospects.
