This weeks feature story "Treasure in the Trash"

Ron Elijah, who runs two funds for H&Q's cross-town rival Robertson Stephens, likewise sees bargains across the tech landscape. Anticipating continued strong demand for personal computers, Elijah has stocked up on Microsoft, Compaq and Dell. Intel, meanwhile, remains the largest holding in Robertson Stephens Information Age, Elijah's tech-only fund. The tech giants haven't been hit as hard as many mid- and small-cap names in the field, of course, and Elijah has been sorting through the small-fry looking for bargains. Among his finds: Parametric Technology, which makes CAD/CAM software, Remedy, provider of help-desk software, and Wind River Systems, which sells embedded operating systems.
