No Tulvio I'm talking about NATIVE x2 MODEMS...............

But maybe existing modems also. Have heard some talk about other USR modems in existance may be upgradable. But I think the Native x2 modem may have other changes or new things on board.

Not being educated to all this tech. stuff, and not having completed my homework, I'm walking right into trouble here.

The TI chip for x2 is "TMS 320 DSP", I'm short inf. on this chip...may have some numbers and letters missing. The NEW TI chip is "TMS320C6201".

Don't know anything about socket types, pin numbers. I do have some help in researching this stuff, but my source is busy busy busy, I'll take any help out there.

The main reason for my thinking is what the company has told us about their stratagy with the use of software, end to end solutions etc.
