re: Uranium in Africa - OMC.AX - A$0.98 - Omegacorp

Quietly approaching its alltime high of A$1.14. The company is progressing nicely and Matthew Yates, lead geologist and Executive Director is again in Africa to deliver on their objective in obtaining resource certified on at least parts of their properties towards year end.

The share price reacted enthusiastically to the recent events and is now up almost 50% from where I first mentioned it.. In case you are not following this firm, Omegacorp is a creation of renowned Perth mining financier Ian Middlemas. Marketcap around $10m USD it's executing a Paladin Resources business model (PDN.AX), essentially gobbling up and developing brownfield Uranium projects in Africa..

So far they obtained concessions and projects in Sambia, Zimbawe, Tanzania, Mozambique, Namibia and more seems to be coming. All projects share one aspect: in former years, millions of dollars have already been invested by bellwether Uranium miners on them.. (Uranerzbergbau, AGIP etc..)
