It's part of Intel's job to project microprocessor demand and to ramp to it, it is what they do. Everybody makes mistakes, and one or two quarters would be understandable. But a year, plus the next quarter? re: "Re hostility: I noticed it when Drew Peck asked a question about investment income porion of their earnings. I don't recall any other examples of the hostility you refer to. Can you point to a few more instances?" I didn't take notes. I plan to listen to a replay of the CC, I'll let you know. Let me ask you a question. Is Intel as effective in executing it's business strategy as it has been in the past? If not, why? John
