Imagine the flurry if Dell jumps aboard (which imho is inevitable if they wish to compete adequately at the top-end of 850 MHz and above).

If Dell jumps aboard, it will be when Spitfire and Thunderbird are released, in my opinion. Spitfire and Thunderbird will make regular Athlon and K6 obsolete. If Dell has not been using them until now, why start now?

Besides, MickeyD can say that it was only Athlon that was fragile. Spitfire and Thunderbird are fine. I hope Dell is busy with those copper samples.
