Hi Barry, your first article is from May last year, so I tend to be dubious about its current validity. If you read it carefully , it is full of ifs and buts, for example "If Intel follows through with its plan, Timna could drive Rambus DRAMs into the mainstream and stake out a new territory in the low-cost PC space". The article from August 24 does not mention RMBS Timna was originally targeted for a $350 PC. Recently Samsung announced plans for a $200 disposable PC. This pressure would mean that Timna will have to be rethought. In view of the RMBS cost penalty, its presence in Timna can no longer be certain IMHO Alan
