Bob, I found out the same thing you did, but had a problem. The URL wrapped to the next line and the second line was not hi-lited as part of it. I did not insert any spaces or returns, just kept typing. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?
When you want to put a live URL in a message here, first rule is, type in the entire URL, then, make sure you put it on a separate line, by hitting carriage return first, like this:
apple.com
The editor reformats your message and then, the font selected by the recipient can affect formatting also, so you never know where a carriage return is going to be. To ensure that the link stays intact, put it on a separate line, preceded and followed by a hard carriage return. |
