My daughter and I drove the Cassiar, starting from Montana, going through Banff, and over to Prince George. It's a great car-camping trip if you hit good weather. You'll see wildlife, and a lot of forest management right next to the highway.

A word of advice: Pay for your gas with a debit or credit card and you won't get snookered by station attendants who know the difference between a US and a Canadian dollar and hope you won't look too close at your change.
