If you think that, and I don't believe you do, you've been living in a cave. We went to war officially because:

1. Saddam had WMD and was a threat to us. This was a lie....he was never a threat to us, never threatened us, and didn't have WMD. We became an imperialist nation by attacking a nation that was no threat to us.
2. Bush faked the intelligence and lied to America and the world in an attempt to justify his invasion. Most nations of the world rejected his claims.

I love the concern about genocidal wars now that we have lost control in Iraq....all phony. The Iraqi's want us out, the American people want us out. The Iraqi's must settle their problems themselves and protect themselves, they now have about 400,000 troops...it's clear we cannot stabilize and pacify anything militarily but we see little attempt at a diplomatic solution. I don't feel like going round and round on this.....your position is pure Bushie propaganda which is why your supposed independency is fake.
