It was Samuels' understanding of the potential of individualized television to improve the quality of educational television programming that drew him to become President of ACTV in 1989. Today, ACTV has emerged as a new, creative leader in both distance learning and entertainment programming. Very active in Democratic politics, Mr. Samuels is a firm believer in Corporate responsibilities and is a founding director of the Council on Economic Priorities.
