NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 28,
1998--Newriders Inc. (Nasdaq: NWRD) Thursday announced a
record sales week for its Myrtle Beach Easyriders Cafe last
week.

The restaurant grossed $206,000 over the seven day period
from May 11 through May 17, including one day with sales
volume of $53,600. The seven day record is a 136% increase
over the one-year-old restaurant's previous weekly sales record

"We're thrilled to have this strong sales momentum as we move
into the busy summer season," said Chris Polston, general

Easyriders Cafe's record-breaking week was fueled by the 58th

Easyriders Motorcycle Demolition Derby.

Newriders is based in Newport Beach, and owns and operates
two Easyriders Cafes. The company is also in the process of
acquiring Paisano Publications Inc. and the El Paso Bar-B-Que
chain of restaurants.
