Wrig, last night I went to a presentation given by a rather successful ML broker in this area who has developed a proprietary stock selection system for managed accounts at ML. Basically, the system is designed to pick the best of ML's brokerage recs. ESV was one of the fifteen stocks appearing in that list. Another was TDW.

He commented briefly about the drillers, and said it si not a question of if they turn around, but when they turn around. He also said that people buying at these levels stand to make a great deal of money. He's been a buyer since the low forties.
