Human minds can be so fragile, and knowing which minds are more fragile than others is sometimes impossible. I've known as many people......regular civilians.....that have committed suicide as I can count fingers on my hands. And I realize that it doesn't really matter where we end up in life, some of us are going to go off the deep end regardless. I don't know if science will ever discover cures for mental disorders, but until or unless it does humans will suffer. This program gave a brief history of what has been called Soldiers Heart, Shell Shock ect...and was informative. And we share a secret. We know the real diseases that all 25 million of us share are really unusual...a love of freedom, a willingness to defend America against all enemies both foreign and domestic, and a desire to serve. We would like to spread those diseases around, but so far we usually can only infect our own families. I'm not your family, and I've never fought in a war, but I've been "infected" with the same disease. Go figure! M
