Go back and check it if you don't believe me. The fact is you are guilty of the straw man yourself. In the very statement I objected to, namely "What's wrong with hoping that the nation is destroyed, if it means you get to beat your opponent in the next election?" Unless you can in fact show a post where Shepard is "hoping that the nation is destroyed" then your use of that phrase is a straw man. God you're stubborn. And very unwilling to admit the obvious.
