Let's say they're 10,000 - the HIGH END estimate.

We have 150,000 troops and 150,000 contractors. The Iraqi army and police contribute another 250,000. According to Bush, the Iraqi population supports US.

So, why are we STILL quagmired after FIVE years? Because the population DOES NOT support US! BUSH is LYING! The native insurgents outnumber the foreign agitators 100 to 1. It's a civil war!

AQ in Iraq is just using the hellhole we created to train and scrimmage against their enemy - us. They can hitchhike to Iraq to kill Americans from all over the Arab ME.
