Somewhat off-topic for either of you guys: "The new system is based on something called ultra dense wavelength division multiplexing (UDWDM), a technology invented by Bell Laboratories, the research arm of Lucent. Simply, it uses an advanced prism to transmit more colors across an existing network. The more colors, the more data, video and phone calls that can be shipped at the speed of light" Why wouldn't UDWDM from LU cause all the CIEN folks to break out in hives? Mike Doyle
