thread, don't worry about cpq shipping to fill a channel this qtr and having slow qtr 1q98. They have a model for each channel. if a store is over their model inventory then cpq will make an adjustment for that. They may even take an try to justify a reserve against sales in the 4q97. Count on them making sure they have reserved off for the actual cost of inventory too. This keep every thing in the 4q and show qtr to qtr gains from 3q to 4q. but, doesn't over do 4q97 to where 1q98 shows a decrease. 4qtr for cpq can be and should be the strongest qtr.
