Hi Paulo, demand is strong for the PPro200 and the new MMX CPU's to the point that they are on allocation and generally unobtainable. As an OEM it is pointless us even offereing them. The PPro180 is plentiful.

No one sensible will buy a P166 now the MMX is here. Demand in recent months for the P133 and P166 has ben strong to the point that significant quantities of illegally re-marked CPU's have been found filling the gap. In Europe even Compaq has had some.

PC demand this year should be a lot higher than last year as the 386 generation is having to be replaced and the changes are purtting pressure on the early 486's too.

The corporates with their heavy investment sat out WIN95 with its requirements for more memory. Many of them have only 386's and we are getting increased reports from customers that their employers are going to change to WIN95 this year. There was initial scepticism about the software and the changes have had to be budgeted for. My feeling at this stage is that we could have another excellent year like 1992 in the offing.
