Mr. paul, <<who says oracle is losing market share? the 1997 IDC study says Oracle has surpassed Microsoft with db installations on NT - actually gaining percentage points from 95 to 97.>> I think it was in either the last 2 issues of Oracle magazine where Ray Lane has said that Oracle has just recently told their sales rep to match SQL Server dollar for dollar to stop the lost of business to Microsoft. If I run across the article, I'll post it. Thak you JK
