The inevitably growing need to handle the breadth of anticipated end-customer services, will require ATM quality QoS to many,if not all, enterprises.

And in the build of the BISDN, the world's public ILECs and PTTs will not deploy a non CCITT solution. End-to-end ATM is the ITU-T solution. What else would handle voice uncompromised?

I don't need to be a Cisco salesman to know that Cowan's Chris Stix has been making the ATM (read YURI) access concentrator argument for a good while, as he did in the article. Spinning this doesn't make it go away.
