Yes, the story was that OTEXF saw the handwriting on the wall (perhaps too early) in terms of a very competitive commercial search engine market and reinvented themselves (through numerous acquisitions and rapid growth in customer base) as a document management and workflow company. Their main product "Livelink" has evolved very quickly. Guess they couldn't have foreseen the 'portal wars' or the hilarious valuations given to companies like Inktomi and Infoseek.
