Where do you live? In some cocoon or cave cut off from the outside world with your $$$ in your lap as you sleep at night? That must be how you get off! Seriously, you need to get real. There already has been a sliding scale in effect. I have gotten plenty of MDs, laywers and other service professionals ask me what my income was before they charged me. I have done the same for 35 years - though I wasn't stupid enough to ask. I just knew by the phone number/neighborhood and could sense it.
