Ted....re:Jeremy Bar-Illan, President, and Chief Investment Strategist of Bar-Illan Capital Management, says if Intel's earnings disappoint, the Nasdaq could plummet.

I bet people are worried....I had thought they would preannounce good earnings and their silence bothers me.

Once again I think Intel will beat the numbers. They announced that .17 tax credit (at least I think that is what it was) and their stock portfolio included AMD. What I think may hurt Intel after everyone starts looking behind the numbers is that their processor business may not meet the numbers. Intel and Nasdaq could get hit. If that is the case, it may initially impact AMD negatively and then positively as people begin to figure out the current processor situation.
