Tenchusastu, Now it seems AMD really did make 800K Athlons in Q4. Wasn't the story originally "800K sold, 900K shipped, 1M manufactured" or something like that? Now it seems the story has changed to "800K to at least 1.2M, representing a 50% increase." How did you arrive at the conclusion that only 800K Athlons were made in Q4'99? As per Q4'99 CC, AMD booked 800K Athlons, and shipped 900K Athlons (manufactured 1M?). Are you basing your assessment and comment of change of the story, solely based on the posts on this board? I don't think AMD has officially changed any story. As per Sanders remark that AMD met the goal of 1.2M Athlons - it could mean 1.2M or more - sold, or shipped, or manufactured. I believe AMD sold more than 1.2M Athlons. We will just have to wait till this quarter's CC to know the exact details. Goutama
