I never said I was in charge.

When someone says there are WMDs in Iraq and the UN says there were not I could choose to listen to the people who wanted war or the people who had unfettered access to all sites in Iraq. You were free to do the same. I'm guessing you chose to listen to the lies the Bush WH was peddling. It happens.

When it came to foreclosures I simply calculated the cost of the monthly foreclosures by taking the number times the average price of a home. The numbers were massive. Yet, they were never headline news.

When bank CEOs lied about their ability to handle bad loans it was self-evident. I thought we were going to have a depression and said so in real time. I didn't know enough about quantitative easing and some of the other tricks the Fed used to stop a global depression so I got that part wrong.

Did you know the Fed pumped $1.2 trillion into the banking system in one day? I'd suggest the GR was the biggest crisis to hit the US in our history since everything could have collapsed if things didn't go just right.
