METALLICA SUES NAPSTER AND SEVERAL UNIVERSITIES

for... COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT.

news.excite.com

I may not like Metallica personally, but I salute them for being the first major artists to have the guts to take on the pirates and those who wish to destroy the Copyright infrastructure. (Next would be Patents)

Once these Universities, companies, and individuals are succesfully sued over and over again, this Napster "cat" may not only be put back in the bag, but thrown in a river as well. Jail time can do wonders for a college student with too much time on his hands.

Sandisk's SD secure flashcards however are a solution to the copyright/lawsuit problem. The sooner these hit the market with the Players, the better.
