I couldn't watch anymore coverage of the stimulus. Last week, all week, I pretty much had the TV off. What little I saw was sickening. After I saw Kay Bailey Hutchinson come on and say 'credit must be unfrozen and fast because companies need to borrow to make payroll', I completely stopped watching or reading about it. The very idea that one of our Senators thinks it's normal for a company to borrow money to make payroll sent me flying outside to whack on some more of my poor bushes damaged by the ice storm.

So far I haven't seen anything about this business cycle that the country's current welfare and unemployment benefits can't handle, excluding the dreadful circumstances our illustrious money center banks have put themselves in. That is indeed a problem, but has thus far been mishandled because of Congressional panic.

Personally, I'm still OK with Obama but Congress is a very scary bunch of sheeple people.
