PA SENATE RACE , local tv political show this morning. the point was brought up we are second oldest state perhaps next to florida for elderly? fastest growing population in pa. is people over 80 years old.

soc sec .. Senator rick Santorum had about ten meetings on soc sec so far and is way out in front supporting bush adm.. Last time Senator R.S. ran he was leading by 10 points going into final and he brought up soc sec needing change. the following week he dropped to a three point lead.

Assumption. congress will want soc sec issue addressed this year.This may be why the date this fall has been proposed. No way does the Senate what soc.sec. on the agenda for next years elections.
