We are adapting. For example: American young people are concentrating in urban areas where they don't need cars. US gasoline consumption is falling so much that the EPA is on the verge of cutting back the ethanol blending mandate. Amazon is partnering to ship products directly from manufacturers to people's homes, so they don't need a vehicle to go shopping.
