Scott: MSFT is getting their butts kicked with the Java paradigm. SUNW has always been a better software company (quality-wise) than MSFT, they just didn't focus on that aspect of their business. Think back about 3-4 years where MSFT was with developers and now look at today, MSFT is losing ground big-time with developers. Some of this was MSFT's own undoing, related to the trash products they ship. Developers will only put up with this so long, and MSFT exceeded the critical duration.
