I tried to get some info from Biotime, but they wouldn't give me specifics on the "1 less liter" analysis regarding the transfusion patient subset (with p=.03!). Someone should call, and try to get a more definitive answer on this.

Good point about the aspirin mechanism. It could be the case that maintaining balanced electrolytes work wonders. A study will (have to) show the results.

I'm a little skeptical of Crossen's objectivity or knowledge since he's claimed the Hespan&reg limit to be "0.5 L per patient". (See btim.dyn.ml.org )
