Certainly shooting from 90 feet, as witnesses report happened in the last (Home Depot) shooting, is not much of a challenge. My theory of this being a game of marksmanship falls apart when the challenge gets easier and not harder. I'm starting to wonder if accounts of long-range shootings are even accurate.

If most of the killings were indeed close range, then we're looking at a couple of deranged hunters. It would seem to imply that their "one shot" M.O. is just their twisted idea of giving their victims a "sporting chance."
