More than any other poster on SI you infuriated me with one statement. I can not get through it, not because you said but because of the matter of fact way you did it.
Here is the question in real time. I am the president. I have info that terrorist will blow up a school in your neighborhood where your kids attend. I call you and say E, i know how you feel but the FISA judge is on a hunting trip with dick cheney and his cell phone wont work where he is. I have this authority that i know you dont like. We can wiretap the person who will give the order to detonate on my say so. I believe i have the authority.
What would you say?

what you said to me was--my dad fought in WW2 and the fight for freedom has casualties and if my kids are casualties, so be it. Think about it for a minute and at least come back to me saying you are conflicted. You are a mom. You cant be this cold.
