As for the rest of us, we'll defend the nation we love against a government that would do her harm.

Gee.. that's interesting, which nation do you belong to?

My nation ELECTED our government to represent them.

But somehow I doubt you would offer anything more than your "lofty" words to defend your nation..

After all, you can't even bring yourself to help OTHERS defend THEIR nation...

Look into the eyes of these Iraqi children Whiffle.. Tell THEM why you're so intent upon abandoning them. Tell them why THEY are not worth defending..

You see.. I understand that Iraqi adults have long memories about the oppression they have suffered under, and a thirst for revenge.

But the future of Iraq lies in it's children. And when the going got tough in Iraq and I just couldn't figure out why people couldn't learn to forgive one another for past wrongs they've committed/suffered, I would remind myself that the CHILDREN have a right to grow up in a country that is better than the ones their parents were forced to live in.

So please Whiffle, don't tell me your lofty words.. I don't want to hear them. Tell those children why you believe they aren't worth defending.
