maybe the excess H2 would combine with CO2 (from fuel cells)
and produce sodium bicarbonate in cloud formations
then fall to earth
resulting in neutralization of all the stinky shit out there

I am unsure what the mix would produce
some carbon hydroxide, unsure of its stability

I think H2 is far less dangerous than CO2
leakage from storage tanks couldnt be as harmful as leakage of gasoline fumes, or oil spills, or oil refinery stench, or...
(I could go on)
