American style fascism, which IS our system of government, leaves out the "strong man at the top" - dictator of classical fascism, physical education, eugenics, some other elements and incorporates "finance capitalism", but otherwise it's just the system we supposedly defeated in WWII. Rather than having brown shirts beat down opposition, our system, through media control, just turns them into marginalized clowns. We don't colonize the countries we conquer, we just make them safe for McDonald's and KFC. en.wikipedia.org
