Judicial tyranny, or judicial activism is what the FL Supreme Court engaged in. This term refers to how the judges applied law to the case.

Instead of respecting the political process - the right of Legislature to decide how elections are held and the Executive to administer them - the totality of the FL "Supreme" court justices arbitrarily used their power to overturn the law and to disregard the US Constitution and Federal law in a brazen effort to throw the election to their preferred candidate. That is why the US Supremes decided to spank them and is set to reverse them if need be.

The FL Supreme Court is well-noted for its judicial tyranny, striking down laws and referenda with caprice.

Regulation can check the judiciary. The FL Legislaure will be considering ways to limit the jurisdiction of the rogue court. Further, three of the justices will be up for election in the next couple of years and they can expect to be vigorously opposed as never before.

The final check on judicial tyranny is impeachment. This process begins when citizens decide that a public official's behavior is unacceptable.

I noticed you avoided the fact that the US Constitution specifically gives the people's bodies, the state legislaure and US Congress - the final say on Presidential electors - not any rogue Dem-stacked court.

That is a well-designed final check on tyranny. And, after all, if the FL election is a "tie", what better institution to determine the will of the people than their duly elected representatives, not some totally unrepresentative and ideologically driven court.
