I've been kinda following this thread and TDFX for awhile now, and looking maybe to purchase on a dip. After listening to the cc. I felt there was a high amount of risk right now. I doubt the ability to maintain current customers and the ability to make the move to retail smoothly.

On TDFX move to .25.
Is the cost per chip really cheaper? Its easy to see more chips per wafer ect ect, but they are fabless and no-doubt have to pay a higher cost for this more advanced process. I would imagine its just now become cheap enough to use, .25 was available at voodoo2. I dont have any facts but assume that the need to move to .25 was driven by performance and is just now cheap enough to use.
