Esteban,

DAVE: The day after the signal day was a close on the low. A definite warning. Other cats with a weak meow also exhibit a close on the low within 3 days of the signal.

Ivan's volume exit signal appears valid but requires at least 3 post-signal days since there are cases where the volume during the first 3 post signal days exceeds the 3 previous but the cat remains weightless.

It appears that a time segmented approach to exit may be necessary.
During the first 3 days, exit is triggered by a close on the low. After 3 days, exit is triggered by volume.

In candlestick parlance, if, within the first three days, a gravestone doji appears, the cat is still dead. It doesn't have to be a gravestone doji though. Any close on the low seems to say the same thing.
