PAGE SIX – The NYPD has a credible case to bust Harvey Weinstein for raping “Boardwalk Empire” star Paz de la Huerta — and the next step is to secure an arrest warrant from the Manhattan District Attorney, a top department official said Friday.
“She put forth a credible and detailed narrative to us. We then sought to garner corroboration — this happened seven years ago — and we found corroboration,” Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce told reporters.
“We have an actual case here.”
Weinstein is out of the state in sex addiction rehab, so the NYPD will need DA Cy Vance’s office to secure an arrest warrant to have the pervy producer hauled back to the Big Apple. In the meantime, Boyce said, they’re still gathering evidenc
