Yaacov:

The strong dollar has already hurt a couple of my stocks pretty
badly and is a threat to several others so I really don't want
to see it get any stronger.

On the other hand, I've got a lot of HAN and its spinoffs which
were hurt badly by the weak pound sterling so I'd like to see
the British pound come roaring back.

Not sure about Novell but I think that it could get hurt by too
strong a dollar since it does so much overseas business.

And high oil prices, of course, further exacerbate inflation and
that hurts just about everybody but the big oils and oil services
companies.

Meanwhile, my gold stocks have been a dud so if they wake up I won't
mind that.

Geez, I guess that's what they mean by diversification--lately here
I haven't seen a better example of investing in a lot of different
sectors. Who knows, maybe it can't hurt to add some I-stocks?
